Spirit Lake’s Matt Weeks enjoyed a nice Saturday on the golf course. The senior shot a 77 at the Storm Lake Invitational to finish tied for second individually in the eleven team meet. As the team, the Indians compiled a 350 team-score for the 18-hole event, good for fifth overall. Carroll Kuemper was first with a 310, followed by Spencer’s 326, Storm Lake’s 346, and Carroll’s 349. The Indians also counted an 89 from Corey Potter, and 92’s by Scott Hummel and Zach Skopec. The Tigers were led by Zach Carlson and Jay Monahan, who carded a 78 and 79, respectively.
