The Sprit Lake Park
Wrestling team got 16 team points from Zach Skopec, and seven team points apiece from
Doug Miner and Kenten Murray, at the Minnesota Christmas Tournament, in Rochester over the weekend.
Skopec registered two pins at 138 pounds, won two matches
by major decisions, and two more by decision.
Miner won one match by pinfall, one by major decision, and
one by decision, at 120 pounds. He took 7th place overall.
Murray won two matches by decision at 145.

The fifth-ranked Iowa Hawkeye wrestling team beat Hofstra,
42-0, and Bucknell, 34-9, yesterday, at Madison Square
Garden.
Ethan Lofthouse, Derek St. John, and Mike Evans all got
pins for the Hawkeyes.
