Three former Northern Iowa football players have signed free agent contracts with NFL teams. Defensive end James Ruffin inked a deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, offensive tackle Austin Howard signed a contract with the Philadelphia Eagles, and safety Quentin Scott signed with the Chicago Bears. Five other received mini-camp invites.
