The
37th Annual University of Okoboji Budweiser Men’s Slow Pitch Softball
Tournament will be played this Saturday and Sunday, August 16th &
17th at the Memorial Park softball fields in Milford
Iowa.
Director Cory Peter, reports that 30 teams from Iowa, Nebraska, Minnesota and
South Dakota will play on the three softball fields at the Milford memorial Park
Complex. There will be over 50 games played starting at 8 AM Saturday and
Sunday. The last Saturday game will start at 5 PM. The Championship game will
be played Sunday at approximately 5 PM. Five of the top teams in Omaha will be
participating this weekend, as well as the host University of Okoboji Fighting
Phantoms.
There
is no admission charge and everyone is welcome to watch this fast paced slow
pitch tournament.
