The matches are all complete down in Iowa City for the Class 1A girls singles and doubles championships. The doubles pairing of Alli Gerking and Aubry Kolegraff from Spirit Lake-Okoboji had the best finish of the area athletes competing, as they defeated Morgan Kuhrt and Carly Poesch from Waverly-Shell Rock in a tiebreaker to grab fifth place honors. SL-O freshman KJ Veldman lost here consolation finals match to Celia Morton of Dubuque Wahlert to end the competition in sixth place. While Estherville-Lincoln Central’s Kaylene Vos and Erin Olson wound up in seventh place in the doubles tournament.
