Spirit Lake-Okoboji boys tennis found themselves in a tight match with Lakes Conference rival Spencer on Monday, but the Tigers would grab the team victory by a 5-3 margin. The score was even after the six singles matches, with Spencer winning the top three spots by identical 10-7 scores. However, SL-O rebounded with singles wins from Tyler Bice, Jordan Richey, and Trystan Wiedow to pull into a 3-3 tie. In the doubles matches, the Tigers won by scores of 10-4 and 10-5, with the third match suspended at 6-4. The Indians are off until next week.
