Three area athletes are receiving more postseason recognition for their play this fall on the volleyball court. Spirit Lake junior Kendra Stokke, Harris-Lake Park senior Leah Duitsman, and Spencer junior Taylor Anderson were all named to the All-District teams of their respective classes by the Iowa Girls Coaches Association. Stokke, an outside hitter, helped lead the Indians to the Class 3A regional final and was tops on the team in kills. Duitsman was the second-best hitter for the Wolves, who competed in Class 1A. The middle hitter paced HLP in service aces, digs, and blocks. Anderson finished atop the list in hitting and blocks for the Tigers in Class 3A.
