One area youth swimmer will test her abilities against the
best the Midwest has to offer this weekend at the Central Zones Summer 2012
meet in Indiana.
Spirit Lake’s Madison Sieperda will compete at
the annual gathering that features the top swimmers from a ten-state region.
The 12-year old will swim in the 14-and-under division in several events.
Friday afternoon Sieperda competes in the 50-meter butterfly, followed by the
50-meter freestyle on Saturday morning, and the 100-meter freestyle Sunday
morning. Sieperda is also involved in several swimming relays. To follow her
