The girls of Spirit Lake-Okoboji tennis are once again champions of the Lakes Conference Tournament. This year marks the 11th consecutive year that coach Bob O’Hara and his team has won the event, and they did so by winning 17 matches. Estherville Lincoln Central finished a close second with 16 wins, host LeMars was third with 15, followed by Storm Lake in fourth place, and Spencer and Cherokee tied for fifth. Spirit Lake’s Alli Gerking, Aubry Kolegraff, and Shirley Coenen earned first team all-conference honors, while teammates K.J. Veldman, Hannah Coenen, and Jamie Kohlhaase were all named honorable mention all-conference.
