Emmetsburg finishes 9-5 in Lakes Conference play and will open with Estherville-Lincoln Central in the first round of the Class 2A playoffs on Monday. Spirit Lake ends league play at 5-9 and draws MOC-Floyd Valley on February 21 in the Class 3A tournament.
In their second last game of the regular season, Okoboji traveled to MOC-Floyd Valley and dropped a 74-36 decision against the Dutch in Siouxland Conference play. Keith Oskvig registered eleven points for the Pioneers, who are now winless through 17 league games. They will host Sibley-Ocheyedan for the season finale on Friday, we’ll have that game on Q102. The Dutch with their 16-1 mark clinch a share of the conference crown.
