Spirit Lake Drops Fourth in Five Tries

The Spirit Lake boys basketball team was at it on Saturday night in non-conference play, on the road against Boyden-Hull in a rescheduled contest originally set for January 4th. The Indians might have been suffering from some tired legs, playing their second game in as many nights. Spirit Lake shot just 27% from the floor and was outrebounded by 13, falling to the Comets by a final of 63-36. Mitch Peschon led the Indians with 12 points in Spirit Lake’s fourth loss in five games.

Spirit Lake (3-4, 0-3 Lakes Conference) will head to Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn for another non-conference matchup on Monday.
