The Spirit Lake Boys Golf team was a winner, yesterday, in a
triangular against Estherville-Lincoln Central and LeMars. The Indians had 162 total team points, ELC
was second with 173, LeMars had 182.
Spirit
Lake’s Zach Skopec was
the medalist after he shot a 37. The
Indians’ Corey Potter was the runner-up medalist with a 40.
The Spirit Lake Girls Golf team fell to Jackson, yesterday afternoon. Jackson’s six
team members combined to shoot a 208, Spirit Lake
had 234.
Shelby Benson had the top score for Jackson.
She shot a 48. Sydney Spies and
Ellie Katzfey each shot 56 for the Indians.
