The Spirit Lake 6th Grade MYFL football team won the A-bracket Championship on Saturday, October 16th defeating Algona 44-7 in the Championship game hosted in Spirit Lake. The team finished with another perfect 6-0 record and outscored their opponents 314-19 thru 6 games this season.
The team has now finished 2 perfect seasons in a row, a perfect 12-0 over 2 years, and are now back-to-back league champions. The league has 18 communities in NW Iowa that compete.
They will be forever known as one of the best MYFL teams in history, a huge accomplishment for all these young men.
