The 25th-ranked Spencer-Spirit Lake Swim team,
had seven first place finishers in eleven events, as they beat both Fort Dodge and 18th-ranked Carroll, last night,
at a double dual meet in Fort Dodge.
Taylor Sieperda claimed first place in both the 50 free
style and the 100 backstroke. Cassidy
Fox was first in the 100 breast stroke.
Emma Dau took first in the 100 freestyle, and Lydia Schooley was the top
finisher in the 500 Freestyle.
Two relay teams also placed first. They were the 200 Medley team, which included
Fox, Sieperda, Dau, and Jessica Nelson; and the 200 freestyle relay team
consisting of Sieperda, Fox, Dau and Abby Goodenow.
Spencer-Spirit
Lake also had two second,
and seven third place finishes.
The second place finishers were Kylie Schooley, in the 500
freestyle, and the 400 freestyle relay team of Jessica Nelson, Krista
Detterman, Jen Will, and Emma Dau.
