The Spencer-Spirit Lake Swim beat both Algona and Storm Lake,
last night, at a dual meet in Storm
Lake. Taylor Sieperda placed first in the 200
freestyle, she was also part of two first place relay teams: 200 freestyle and
400 freestyle. Emma Dau, Jessica Nelson,
and Abby Goodenow were also part of the winning 200 Freestyle relay team. Dau, Nelson, and Jen Will rounded out the 400
Freestyle relay team.
Nelson took first in the 100 Backstroke. Lydia Schooley was the top finisher in the
500 Freestyle.
Spencer-Spirit
Lake also had five second
place finishes, and seven third place finishes.
Krista Detterman, Piper Swanson, Sieperda, and Dau combined to take
second in the 200 Medley Relay. Abby
Goodenow was second in the 50 Freestyle. Dau took second in the 100 Freestyle; Will
was second in the 500 Freestlye, and the 400 Freestyle Relay team of Goodenow, Detterman,
Schooley, and Krista Larson also placed second.
Next up is a dual meet, with Carroll and Fort
Dodge, next Thursday in Fort
Dodge.
