The Spencer High School Boys Cross Country team tied Spirit Lake
for the top team score, yesterday, at the Sheldon Invite.
Each team registered 99 points, to take first and
second. Estherville-Lincoln Central
placed tenth.
Spirit
Lake’s Will Norris placed
first among all boys with a time of 15:44.
The Indians’ Tanner Goetsch placed 7th in 16:56.
The Spencer Girls team placed third, while the Spirit Lake
Girls placed sixth. The top female
finisher for the Indians was Dondi Schmidt, who placed eighth, in 15:18.
