The Spencer girls soccer team won 6 – 0 over Unity Christian on Monday night, bringing their overall record to 14 – 1 and undefeated in the Lakes Conference. Senior Ashley Williamson scored four goals on the night and now has 15 on the year. Whitney Armstrong made 14 saves in goal for her ninth shutout of the season. The Lady Tigers will end the regular season at home Thursday night when they host West Sioux for Senior Night. It will also be Cancer Awareness Night at the Spencer Soccer Complex, which will include the girls wearing pink socks for the match.
The Spencer boys soccer team won 3 – 1 over Unity Christian Monday and have now won 6 in a row. Carter Gerdeman had 2 goals for the Tigers as they improve to 13-2-1 on the season. The Tigers have one regular season game remaining Thursday at West Sioux.
