The Spencer girls’ soccer team advanced to the Class 2A State Tournament after beating Le Mars 10 – 0 in a Class 2A Region 1 Final Thursday night in Spencer. The Tigers were led in scoring by Alexa Johnson. She had five goals against Le Mars. Alexa now has 56 goals on the season. Spencer is back at state for the fourth year in a row. They are 15 – 3 and will take on Xavier in the first round on Tuesday May 31st at 12:45 PM.
