The Spirit Lake softball team was beaten 13-0 by LeMars, last night. The Bulldogs improved to 13-0. The Indians fall to 6-6 and play at North Union tonight.
Hull Western Christian hands Emmetsburg their 5th loss in a row as they defeated the E’hawks 12-5. Emmetsburg drops to 1-6 and will host Cherokee on Thursday.
Estherville beat Spencer 6-1.
North Union trounced Laurens-Marathon, 17-2, last night.
Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn fell to Spalding Catholic, 6-1. The Hawks are now 4-6 and host LeMars Gehlen tonight.
South O’Brien lost, 8-7, to West Sioux. The Wolverines are now 2-4 and are home against Clay-Central Everly Friday.
Also, Newell Fonda beat Sioux Central 10-0 in 5 innings and Pocahontas downed Manson 8-5.
