A gold medal from the 102nd Drake Relays is coming back to the Iowa Great Lakes. Spirit Lake Park senior Alec Baldwin ran the 1600m in 4:14.76 to win the race by more than a second. Teammate Keith Byers ran the mile in 4:42.99 to finish 19th. However, Baldwin and Byers’ day was not quite over on Saturday. The two teamed up with Kayne Feldick and Will Norris for the 4x800m relay and finished a close second. Their time of 7:52.99 was a half-second behind the relay team from Indianola.
