SLP Second at Stille Relays (Track & Field RoundUp)

Emmetsburg hosted its annual Clint Stille Relays on Tuesday, a boys only track and field meet won by Algona. The Bulldogs finished with 173 team points, while Spirit Lake Park was second at 131 points. The E-Hawks took third (86), followed by Bishop Garrigan in fourth (85), and Estherville-Lincoln Central fifth (75). Highlighting the night for the Indians was the 4×200 relay team (Luke Kabele, Aric Waltz, Bryson McCabe, Kevin Martinson) setting a new meet record in 1:31.74. SLP’s Luke Kabele won the long jump (20’5.25″), Aric Waltz broke the tape in the 400-meter hurdles (58.44), and the Medley Relay team (McCabe, Kevin Martinson, Kabele, Keith Byers) took first in 3:48.05).
