The Spirit Lake Park-Okoboji girls’ soccer team avenged an earlier loss by taking a 7-3 contest at Unity Christian on Monday. Hannah Marsh notched a hat trick with three goals, while Katy Brevik and Alissa Christoffer both found the back of the net twice.
The first half decided the outcome of the boys’ matchup between Spirit Lake Park-Okoboji and Unity Christian. SLP-O netted all of their goals before the intermission in a 4-0 shutout of the Knights. Zubeen Azari scored twice, once on a penalty kick, with the other two goals coming from Kade Heikens and Dominic Piel.
