On the soccer pitch the Spirit Lake Park-Okoboji girls team hosted Unity Christian in Lake Park on Monday and came away with a narrow and high-scoring 5-4 win. SLP-O received two goal efforts from Alyssa Christoffer and Brandy Fowler. Hannah Marsh knocked in the other goal for the Indians.
The boys matchup between Spirit Lake Park-Okoboji and Unity Christian had fewer goals with a 2-1 final in favor of the Indians. Kade Heikens and Zach Lindsey both scored goals on assists from Daniel Stover and Rick Maris.
