In their final road test of the regular season, the girls soccer team from Spirit Lake Park-Okoboji traveled to MOC-Floyd Valley and returned with a 7-0 victory. Alyssa Christoffer led the high-scoring charge with four goals, while Brandi Fowler notched two and Hannah Marsh scored once.
The boys of Spirit Lake Park-Okoboji improved their season record to 11-4 with a win over MOC-Floyd Valley on Thursday in Lake Park. SLP-O celebrated Senior and Parents Night with a 1-0 victory over the Dutch. Zubeen Azari found the back of the net in the first half and Keith Oskvig had four saves in the shutout.
SLP-O is scheduled to play a girls-boys doubleheader with Sioux City East this evening at the Bedell Family YMCA.
