It was a historic night for the Spirit Lake Park-Okoboji boys soccer team in earning an 11-2 victory over West Sioux at the Bedell Y on Thursday. Senior Zubeen Azari set a school record with seven goals, while Keith Oskvig came out of goal to score a pair as well. Brett Cochran-Bray and Logan Sorensen each found the back of the net in the win, as SLP-O put up 29 shots on goal. Kade Heikens registered four assists.
The girls contest opened the doubleheader, and saw Spirit Lake Park-Okoboji earn a 4-1 victory.
