Lakes Conference soccer rivals Spirit Lake Park-Okoboji and Spencer met in boys and girls action on Thursday night, and split the two matches. The boys of SLP-O defended their home turf with a hard-fought 1-0 victory in Lake Park. Kade Heikens scored off a Zubeen Azari pass in the first half for the game’s lone goal. As for the girls contest, that, too, would end in a 1-0 final as the Tigers came away with the win. Spirit Lake Park-Okoboji takes on Western Christian this evening.
