The Lakes Conference announced this spring’s boys and girls soccer all-conference teams. On the girls side, Spirit Lake Park-Okoboji is represented by Faith Bartlett, Alissa Christoffer, Hannah Marsh, and Shelby Rohlf, while Spencer’s Chole Brockshus, Maddie Conley, Maddie Gould, Ashley Williamson, and Julia Winterboer also earned honors.
For the boys, the Tigers were represented by Hunter Cushman, Colin Eagan, Nigel Nielsen, Zach Overburg, and Tanner Viedenkamp. Spirit Lake Park-Okoboji had four all-conference members, led by leading scorer Zubeen Azari, as well as DJ Gjerde, Keith Oskvig, and Blake Poock. SLP-O will take the field Thursday in Des Moines for the Class 2A state tournament against Grinnell. The game will begin 2:30 and KUOO Campus Radio will have live updates throughout the match.
