Just three days removed from winning the Lakes Conference tennis title, the Spirit Lake-Okoboji girls claimed another meet championship Saturday, winning the Spencer Invitational. SL-O tallied 62 points, finishing ahead of second-place Denison-Schleswig with 59 points. The host Tigers came in fourth place. Spirit Lake-Okoboji earned two singles championships, as Hannah Coenen won the No. 2 singles bracket and Rachael Westergard did the same in the No. 3 singles. Meanwhile, the duo of KJ Veldman and Olivia Rohlk were tops in the No. 2 doubles category. SL-O will return to Riverview Park in Spencer next weekend for the Class 1A Team Regionals against Storm Lake.
