Spirit Lake-Okoboji tennis and Estherville Lincoln Central hooked up in a boys and girls dual meet Thursday, and the Indians earned victories in both. The boys won by a 7-2 final, taking five of the six singles matches. That included wins from Nelson Davis, Wes Bergquist, and Mitch O’Neill to begin the night. They also took the top two doubles matches, including a tiebreaker victory by the pairing of Bergquist and Brandon Stoll. The girls dual was a bit closer, as the SL-O escaped with a 5-4 decision. Number one singles player Alli Gerking, as well as Shirley Coenen, K.J. Veldman and Hannah Coenen all won in singles, while the Midgets took two of three in the doubles. Spirit Lake-Okoboji will play in the Lakes Conference Tournament on Saturday.
