The girls of Spirit Lake-Okoboji tennis continued their dominance of the Lakes Conference with another 9-0 dual victory, this time shutting out Cherokee. Alli Gerking, Aubrey Kolegraff, KJ Veldman, Hanna Coenen, Rachel Westergard, and Holly Seeman all picked up singles victories by at least six points. SL-O also won the three doubles matches by an average of eight points.
The Spirit Lake-Okoboji boys didn’t have it quite as easy but still pulled out a comfortable win over Cherokee by a 7-2 final. Wes Berquist, Brett Kraus, Jordan Richey, and Trystan Wiedow all notched singles wins before the Indians swept the doubles matches, the third of which was an 11-9 decision.
