In high school tennis, the girls of Spirit Lake-Okoboji have yet to relinquish a single team point as they won their second consecutive match by a 9-0 score to start the season, this time defeating LeMars. Aubrey Kolegraff won her #1 singles match 10-7, while Alli Gerking got by with a 10-5 win and KJ Veldman at 10-3. Hannah Coenen, Rachael Westergard, and Holly Seemann all won their singles matches with ease. The top doubles match was close, but Gerking and Kolegraff would grab the W, 10-8. Veldman and Jamie Kohlhaase won at #2, and Westergard and Coenen dominated their #3 match.
The boys of Spirit Lake-Okoboji dropped their second consecutive road dual, falling 9-0 at LeMars on Monday. Wes Bergquist had the closest singles match, dropping a 10-8 decision. The Indians dropped all six singles matches, along with all three doubles matches.
