The Jackson Motorplex hosted the final 360 Challenge of the 2023 season on Friday night during the Jackson County Fair.
Nate Eakin went gate to wire in the 20-lap Wyffels Hybrids RaceSaver Sprint Car Series main event for his first victory at Jackson Motorplex since June 2018.
Skylar Prochaska led all 25 laps of the Barb and Dean Wieskus Memorial featuring the Midwest Sprint Touring Series and Midwest Power Series 360 sprint cars. We talked to him after his first win at the track since July 2016.
The final Jackson Motorplex event of the season is the 45th annual AGCO Jackson Nationals powered by FENDT featuring the World of Outlaws Aug. 17-19. The Wyffels Hybrids RaceSaver Sprint Car Series will be there Thursday and Friday with the Upper Midwest Renegades Sprint Car Series being part of the show on Saturday.
Fairmont Raceway hosted Hall of Fame Night on Wednesday, July 26th. Feature winners included Rodney Sanders in Modifieds, Luke Sathoff in Stock Cars, Tayler Ausrud in B-Mods, points leader Parker Anderson in Hobby Stocks, and Bubba Brown in Tuners. Fairmont Raceway will be back to USRA action for Back to School Night featuring the van races on Friday, August 11th.
Worthington Speedway gets back to IMCA racing on Saturday during the Nobles County Fair and will be in action weekly until Season Championship Night on August 26th.
