Madison Sieperda, a 7th grader at Spirit Lake, competed in a Short Course Swim Meet this past week-end at St Thomas in St.
Paul, MN.
She competed in a total of seven events over the two day meet. She got
1ST in 50FREE (25.61), 1ST in 200IM (2:26.65), 1ST in 200FREE(2:03.89), 1ST in
100FREE(56.27), 2ND in 100IM( 1:06.14), 2ND in 50FLY (28.96), and 2ND in
50BREAST(34.47).
Next up for Madison is a Midwest Regional Meet which
will include swimmers from at least six different states. This meet will be at
the University of Minnesota on March 23-24 in which Madison will be swimming the
same 7 events.
