Graettinger-Terril had an 11-point lead going into the final four matches but Eagle Grove came out with four straight pins to score the final 24 points and defeat the Knights 48-35. Meanwhile, Clarion-Goldfield scored all seven of its decisions by pinfall and defeated Okoboji 42-34 in the Pioneers first appearance at the team duals. Cameron Arnold and senior Kris Kaufman scored the only Pioneer pins of the night.
At Spirit Lake, Emmetsburg rolled over Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley and then Sheldon/South O’Brien for a berth in the 2A State Dual Team Wrestling Tournament at Cedar Rapids. Emmetsburg is the 7th seed and will take on 29-0 Ballard on Saturday, February 27th.
