After dramatically improving their conference win total from a season ago, the Okoboji girls’ basketball team boasts two Siouxland Conference All-Conference players this season. Junior Skylar Hansen earned a spot on the second-team list, while sophomore Abby Taylor received honorable mention. Hansen averaged a team-high 10.6 points and 5.4 rebounds a night, to go along with a team-best 27 blocks on the year. Taylor ran the point and dished out a team-leading 2.2 assists per game and collected 2.6 steals a contest. Also receiving praise is Sibley-Ocheyedan senior Alyssa Hibbing, a first-team selection, and sophomore Bridget Doeden, a third-team honoree. Both players averaged double-doubles of at least twelve points and ten rebounds.
