* Mikkinzie Peschong and Brandi DeMuth scored 14 apiece but George-Little Rock had four players with 12 points or more and the Mustangs delivered the Pioneers their third straight conference loss, topping Okoboji 61-53 on Monday. Okoboji (1-6, Siouxland Conference) brings Rock Valley home tonight.
* The boys got 17 from Bill Burgduff and 14 from Brady Reinig, but Okoboji got no bench points and gave up eight more field goals than they scored, falling 54-40 to George Little Rock. One more game for 2009 on Okoboji’s (0-6, Siouxland Conference) slate. The Pioneers host the #1-2A Rock Valley Rockets, a rather tall task battling the defending champion.
