The Okoboji Pioneers were on the mat at Sibley-Ocheyedan on Thursday night, taking on the host Generals and MOC-Floyd Valley. The Pioneers scored a big win in the feature match at 135 lbs. as 5th-ranked sophomore Tanner Taylor defeated 4th-ranked Steven Brockshus of Sibley. The Pioneers would defeat the Generals 39-27, however, head coach Justin Bouse said his team came out flat against MOC, eventually falling 47-30 to the Dutchmen.
