Okoboji had one final wrestling tune-up before the Siouxland Conference meet on Tuesday, and the Pioneers finished Saturday’s Rockwell City Duals with a 1-4 record. Leading the way individually was Zach Jones, who went 5-0 at 160-pounds to earn first place. Cody Louscher took second at 140.
North of the border, Jackson County Central finished second at the Kasson-Mantorville Tournament. The Huskies earned a 36-34 win over United South Central and a 61-15 decision against Byron in pool play. JCC opened the Championship bracket with a 42-36 defeat of Zumbrota-Mazeppa, but would fall 37-32 in the finals to Kasson-Mantorville.
