The Siouxland Conference has announced it’s All-Conference Volleyball teams for the 2011 season. Okoboji’s Mikkinzie Peschong received third team honors. The senior outside hitter led the Pioneers with 412 kills and was second on the team in aces, digs, and blocks. Junior teammate Skylar Hansen was given honorable mention accolades. The middle hitter finished third on the squad in kills and aces. Sibley-Ocheyedan’s lone representative was senior Alyssa Hibbing, who made it on the honorable mention list after recording a team-high 42 blocks and finishing second in kills for the Generals. Hibbing, along with Peschong and fellow Okoboji senior Kiley Wermersen, were also all named to the Siouxland Conference’s Academic All-Conference team. The rest of the all-conference teams are below:
