The Okoboji High School Wrestling team opened its season
with a double-dual, last night, against both Spencer and
Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire.
Spencer beat the Pioneers 54-26, and Okoboji topped GT/RA 48-27.
The Pioneers’ Jordan Hannah registered pins in both of his
matches, here’s Okoboji coach Nate Dau.

Okoboji’s Noah Bouse, Taylor Cody, and Justin Richardson
also registered two pins apiece. Spencer
beat Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire, 69-9.

wrestlers lost a close one to Sheldon, last night, 36-33. They got pins from Zach Skopec and Kenten
Murray. David Trucksess won by decision.

beat George-Little Rock, 51-24, last night.
Trucksess, Murray, Skopec, Ben Parks, Javier Tapia, and Brady
Mart all got pins in that one.
Spencer, Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire, Okoboji, and Spirit Lake
will all compete in the Okoboji Invitational, this Saturday, along with
Hartley-Melvin Sanborn and others.
Estherville-Lincoln Central fell to Humboldt, 63-15, last
night.
