The Okoboji Wrestling team hosted a double dual, last night, with Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn and Sioux Center.
The Pioneers got wins over both teams. They beat Sioux Center 42-27, behind pins from Brady Jones, Noah Bouse, Jon Mitchell, Taylor Cody, Jordan Hanna, Justin Richardson, and Jacob Sauter.
Sauter, Hanna, and Richardson also registered pins in Okoboji’s 66-13 win over Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn, along with Ryan Bolster, Kaleb Vanderpool, Ryan Clark, Noah Fritsch, and Kody Sauter.
Also, Sioux Center defeated HMS 58 – 24.
Spirit Lake Park, meanwhile, beat Estherville-Lincoln Central, 60-16, in Estherville. Doug Miner, Zach Skopec, David Trucksess, Javier Tapia, and Gage Roberts all got pins in that one.
Spirit Lake Park beat Western Christian, 48-30. Hayden Wilson recorded a pin in his weight class.
Estherville-Lincoln Central topped Western Christian, 40-36
