In softball Monday night, Okoboji got the offense going, scoring 8 runs in the bottom of the 5th inning to beat Spencer 14-4. Anna Seeger went 4 for 4 in the game with 3 runs scored and 4 RBI. Abby Taylor would score 3 times for the Pioneers, including a 2 run shot over the left field fence in the 3rd inning. Okoboji is now 3-2 on the season. The play again Wednesday at Sheldon, who beat George Little Rock/Central Lyon Monday night 12-0. Spencer falls to 1-2. The Tigers play Tuesday night at home against that same Sheldon team.
