On the golf links, the Siouxland Conference held their boys tour meet at Central Lyon on Monday. MOC-Floyd Valley was the overall winner at 159, with Okoboji taking second at 166, and Sibley-Ocheyedan a stroke behind in third. The Pioneers were paced by Micah Baschke’s 40. Tyler Ohl fired a 41, James Halbur at 42, and Mike Luhrs a 43. The Dutch’s Daniel Clemens was the meet medalist with a two-over-par 37. As for the girls tour meet in Milford, the Okoboji Pioneers shot a 222, good for third place behind MOC-Floyd Valley and Sioux Center. Hannah Jones and Kristina Kaiser led the Pioneers with 52’s, Kiley Wermersen had a 54, and Halee Morrow a 64. Meet medalist was Mallory Simmelink from MOC-Floyd Valley with a 48.
