Okoboji Girls Beat HLP, 51-46

Park was outscored 17-4
in the third quarter against Okoboji Thursday night and fell to the Pioneers
51-46. HLP led 14-8 after quarter one and 29-21 before falling behind in the second
half. The Wolves were led by Noreen Morrow’s 19 points.  Miranda
Brueggeman nailed a trio of three pointers and finished with 11 points overall.
Okoboji junior Darby Jones had 18 points and freshman Shaelyn Adams had 13.
Megan Peschong led a strong Pioneer bench effort with 9. Okoboji  is now
2-1 and travels to West Lyon on Friday. Harris-Lake Park is 2-2 and will host West
Bend-Mallard on Tuesday.
