Okoboji volleyball was in action over the weekend at the Hartley Melvin Sanborn Invitational. The Pioneers finished 2nd in the tournament, going 4-1 with straight set wins over Newell Fonda, HMS and Sioux City West, a 3 set win over Rock Valley, and dropping a 3 set match to South Obrien. Senior Darby Jones had a big tournament, picking up 48 kills over the 5 matches, including 5 aces. With the wins, Okoboji improves their overall record to 10-13, and will next play at Boyden Hull in a Siouxland Conference matchup on Tuesday
