It was great to see the girls bounce back after a tough loss on Friday night. This group really has responded to adversity all season, and they definitely did that from the opening tip tonight jumping out to that 12-0 lead. Makenna Helmers, Ella Stoll and Olivia Lorenzen set the tone early with their defensive pressure and we kept that going all game. Montana and Ava did a great job of finding openings in their zone and the girls did a tremendous job of turning down good shots to get a great shot. We got outstanding minutes from our bench again tonight with 27 bench points and some outstanding defense. I love how together this group is becoming and how they continue to grow. We’re excited for the second half of the conference season.

We were proud of the effort our boys gave on defense throughout the game and the poise they showed to commit to good looks on the offensive side of the ball. That focus allowed us to recover from a slow start and really build throughout the duration of the game. We moved the ball well on offense tonight and had a nice blend of inside and outside looks. Lucas and Kaleb both played really nice two-way games tonight and a special congratulations to Lucas for reaching the 1,500 point mark. We will need to build on the positives we have seen moving forward.
