Spencer senior Ally Mahrt who led the Lakes conference in scoring this season, will sign a letter of intent on Wednesday to play basketball at Morningside College in Sioux City. Mahrt averaged nearly 18 points per game while leading Spencer to the 3A regional finals. Morningside competes as an NAIA school and the Lady Mustangs won back to back national titles in 2004 and 2005 as well as the 2009 championship with a 38-0 record.
