Spirit Lake Park-Okoboji girls soccer took the soccer pitch in Lake Park on Monday against MOC-Floyd Valley and found the net often in a 5-0 victory. SLP-O received two goal efforts from Hannah Marsh and Alyssa Christoffer, while Brandi Fowler also scored.
The boys teams from Spirit Lake Park-Okoboji and MOC-Floyd Valley played an epic soccer match on Monday. Scoreless through regulation, the Indians and Dutch went into double overtime, and still could not determine a winner. MOC-FV would ultimately come out on top after the eleventh penalty kick for 1-0 victory. SLP-O had better than 40 shots in the game, with 22 on goal, and dominated the time of possession in the second half.
