Harris-Lake Park basketball is receiving some postseason recognition for their play on the hardwood in the Cornbelt Conference this winter. On the boys’ side, the two-time conference champions placed four on the all-conference teams. Senior Brady Nissen and junior Eli Ihnen earned first-team honors for the second consecutive season. Ihnen led the league in scoring at 19.4 points per game, while Nissen tied for second at 15.4 points a night. Juniors Kade Heikens and Tanner Hiveley were selected as second-team all-conference. Also on that list was Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire junior Austin Dyer. The Raiders were also represented by Mitch Girres, who received honorable mention accolades in his senior season. The Cornbelt Conference also named Wolves head coach Jeff Sohn as its Coach of the Year for a second consecutive season.
