The Iowa Lakes golf teams were in action over the weekend with the Laker Fall Invite held at Brooks National Golf Course. The Laker Men’s Blue Team shot a total of 622 (315 and 307) to win the tournament. Meet medalist was Iowa Lakes own Jake Miller shooting a 73 and a 72 for a total of 145. Scott Kremer finished T-3rd with a 159, shooting 79 and 80. Brady Hally and Ryan Stevens both T-6th at 161. The Iowa Lakes Men’s Golg team finished in 4th place with a 660 total 327 and 333. Next action for the Laker Men will be Wednesday, September 29 at the DMACC Fall Invite, in Boone.
The Lady Lakers finished 2nd, led by meet medalist Macy Milburn. The Estherville-native finished with a 179 total, shooting 89 and 90. Meaghan Schmidt finished in 8th place with a 199 total. Ashley Miller finished in 11th place with a 202 two day total. Kelsey Osborne was in a tie for 12th place with a 209 two day total. Morgan Jahr was 14th place for the Lady Lakers with a 210. The Lady Lakers are in action again September 29th when they travel to Boone for the DMACC Fall Invite.
